Tonights dinner was Sesame Chicken and Veggies with rice, using the delicious food from local suppliers delivered today. I had green lentils instead of rice, but rice looked prettier in the picture! 😁
It is very easy to make:
- Chicken (I used 2 breasts for 4 servings)
- Large Broccoli,
- Red Bell Pepper
- Yellow or Green Bell Pepper
Put onto a greased baking tray. I then added a cup of Edamame Beans. Season with salt and pepper.
In a small saucepan mix together:
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Sweet Chilli Sauce
- 3 Cloves Garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger.
Heat up until bubbling and thickened slightly.
Pour half the sauce over the chicken and Veggies and then place in the oven 200°c for 25 mins. Make sure all is cooked.
Pour over the remainder of the sauce and serve sprinkled with Spring Onions and Sesame Seeds. Enjoy!😊
